Oh, the things they say! The 9 cutest things my kids have said to me

Oh, these kids. They’re so damn adorable. And the things they say, can really leave me in stitches. And of course, there’s nothing like an unexpected one-liner from your babies to remind you what a fun bunch they are.

Here I’ve rounded up some of the cute little things my kids have said to me lately.

#1 Why does it smell so bad in here?

This is what you call dinner, my love. Yes, it’s not your usual century egg porridge, or chicken rice, but let’s try expanding your culinary horizons.

#2 Daddy is nicer than you

Aaaw, that’s perfect. Guess he’ll be changing your diaper from now on!

#3 Do you think I can have more wardrobe space for MY shoes?

Glad to know you have the same sharp sarcasm skills as mummy.

#4 Why is my birthday cake so yucky?

Because your undomestic mum actually tried to make something from scratch. But, thank you. We’ll be sticking to ordering Swensen’s ice cream cakes from now on.

#5 Why is your top so short?

(Leave me alone). Some things can’t be explained till you’re an adult, honey.

#6 How come your friends have no kids?

Because they have met you ;)

#7 You look way prettier and skinnier in your wedding picture than you do now.

Hmm… and you look way cuter when you’re asleep than you do now.

#8 Why can’t you nurse anymore? Is it because your breasts aren’t big enough?

Oh hush. They’re certainly larger than yours!

#9 You’re not as nice as Rohan’s mum

Awesome! So when daddy isn’t around, maybe she can wipe your bottom for you.
