The patient, a female Singapore citizen, is a local linked case.

She tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning. She has since been admitted to the National University Hospital.

Based on the summary of cases released by the MOH, the child is a family member of two previous cases, case 1696 who tested positive for the virus infection on 8 April.
