Inspired by The Electrolux Asia Pacific Food Survey 2014, Electrolux has decided to make it their mission to encourage families to get back in the kitchen and pass the joys of cooking down to the younger generations.
The Electrolux Asia Pacific Food Survey 2014 showed that Singapore is a nation of inspiring chefs. 93% of respondents who took the survey said that they were passionate about food. Although this may be true, 19% of those surveyed, said that their ability in the kitchen was a culinary disaster!
Electrolux-Chef-in-Residence Eric Low
When it comes to passing down the traditions of cooking, not even 28% of Singaporeans under 30 think that it’s important to share the joys of home cooking with their children. This made Singapore the second least likely country to do so in comparison to the other 9 countries surveyed.
This is why Electrolux has committed themselves to change this, starting by giving 5 readers of theAsianparent, a cooking workshop and household appliance!
Win an exclusive cooking workshop and home appliance with Electrolux!
