Queen's Yu Sheng
Are you a little put off about eating raw fish this year? Understandably so with the recent spate of food scares around this particular dish. This is where Antoinette comes to the rescue with their unique take on the traditional Yu Sheng. Presented on a golden egg that is actually a hard casing of chocolate, the raw fish has been replaced by white chocolate koi. When the casing has been broken (with a hammer, no less!) inside, there is the usual citrus fruits but instead of the usual crackers and vegetables, it’s a whole medley of desserts. Definitely going to be a hit with the kids, especially the vegetable-resistant ones!

Green Pea Cookies
Green peas might not look all that delicious, but their green looks belie their awesome taste. If you like Sugee cookies, but want to try something with an interesting twist to this New Year snack, try Kele’s green pea cookies. This healthier variation has the same melt-in-your-mouth texture with an added bite to them, thanks to the crunchiness of the peas.
