‘Angel of Death’: Mother killed her 2 kids to send them to heaven

A mother killed her 2 kids, aged 6, and 7, in the backseat of a car. She said that she did it so that they would be safe in heaven.

There’s a saying that goes, “Mothers are the givers of life.” But for one mother, she was also responsible for taking her children’s lives.

She did it so that they would be safe in heaven

Amber Pazstor, mother of Rene Pazstor, 6, and Liliana Hernandez, 7, killed both of her children in the backseat of a car. She said that she did it so that they would be safe in heaven.

From an interview with WANE, the mother said that “They were in good hands, but I don’t think they were safe. My kids are in a better place… they’re in heaven now. They don’t have no worries no more.”

According to Pazstor, she took both of her children from the home of their grandfather, who was also their legal guardian. The mum put them inside her vehicle and then just started driving. She heard an alert on the radio about her kids being taken, and that’s when things started to take a turn for the worse.

She said that the alert was what pushed her over the edge, “because I knew the police was gonna get us. And with me behind bars and my kids out here with all my problems; no. Sorry. No. I’m not that selfish. I’m not a coward.” She then shared that she smothered both of her children, starting with her eldest daughter.

She also killed one of her neighbours

Pazstor also admitted to killing one of her neighbours, Frank Macomber, 66. She said in the interview that she had planned for it beforehand, and she had arranged to go camping and have sex with her neighbour. Pazstor then shot and killed Macomber near a ditch, and threw the gun in a river in Michigan.

She then stole his car and used it to take her kids from their guardian’s home. She hasn’t been charged with the death of her neighbour.

Making sure that your kids are safe

It’s very important to know not only how to keep your kids safe, but also to teach your kids what they can do to keep themselves safe. Here are some useful tips:

  1. Start them young – The earlier that you can teach your child about safety, the better. You can start as soon as they can understand basic concepts.
  2. Don’t make your kids feel scared – While it’s important to teach your kids a healthy fear of people they don’t feel comfortable with, don’t scare your kids. They should always be alert, but not scared.
  3. Go beyond stranger danger – Strangers are not always the people that your child should be wary of. In some cases, even a close relative or family friend can prove to be dangerous. This is why you need to go beyond stranger danger. Teach your kids to run away from anyone who makes them feel uncomfortable.
  4. Teach them important information – Make sure that your child knows their basic personal information. This includes their address, emergency phone numbers, their name, and full names of all their guardians.
  5. There’s safety in numbers – Teach your kids to always be with an adult that they trust or a group of friends at all times when they’re outside.
  6. Practice makes perfect – Run through different scenarios with your child and guide them on what they can do to keep themselves safe. That way, if in case something does happen, they will know what to do.
