A father from Massachusetts was arrested recently after eyewitnesses saw him lock up his two sons, aged 3 and 6, inside the trunk of his Pontiac Trans Am while running some errands.

shutterstock_86779999 A father from Massachusetts was arrested recently after eyewitnesses saw him lock up his two sons, aged 3 and 6, inside the trunk of his Pontiac Trans Am before going to a sailing shop. Michael Monahan is out on bail but is not allowed to see his kids.

The distressed father pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment of his kids and assault. He told the police that “locking up his kids” inside the trunk was a game that he usually played with them. But police said putting kids in a car’s trunk is not a game, it is a crime.
