7 little things to make your hubby happy

7 little things to make your hubby happy

Saying how much you love your spouse just isn’t enough sometimes. Actions speak louder than words, yes? Try these 7 little things to make your husband happy.
1. Breakfast in bed

1. Breakfast in bed

Choose a particular day that’s perfect for both you and your husband to just be lazy and snuggle in bed. Wake him up with the smell of freshly brewed coffee or tea with pancakes, eggs, sausages and other breakfast items that he loves. Take this time to talk and reconnect with each other while eating. Food is a classic way to a man's heart. Plus, you will get to spend some quality time with one another!
2. Pack him lunch

2. Pack him lunch

If your husband works the whole day, pack him his favourite lunch. Make sure the serving is generous so he’ll be stuffed for the whole day. Don’t forget to insert a sweet note too. If you want, you can also drop by his workplace and provide food for his office mates as well. He’ll definitely be proud to have his friends taste your delicious cooking. Also, he’ll be grateful about the break, especially if he is having a stressful day in the office.
3. Make a coupon book

3. Make a coupon book

Make small coupons for your husband to redeem and use whenever he wants. The coupons may contain things like a free massage, a masquerade sex night, a day out with friends, or even something like a chore swap. Be creative when making these coupons. Make sure that they contain things that your husband enjoys since this is for him alone. Tell him though that only one coupon is allowed for one day, unless you are feeling generous, to prolong the excitement.
4. Learn a hobby of his

4. Learn a hobby of his

One of the nicest things you can do to for husband is praising him about how great he is at something. Men do love their ego boosted. This could be anything from computers, sports or video games to gardening. Choose a particular hobby of his that you are comfortable doing or have always wanted to try doing and let him teach you. Your husband will be pleased that you are taking interest in the things he enjoys and you’ll get to spend time together too.
5. Plan a getaway

5. Plan a getaway

With everything that you have going on both as a couple and as individuals, it’s no wonder you hardly have time for one another. Surprise your husband with a short getaway or even a ‘staycation’. Use a weekend where you know you won’t have anything on and plan a short weekend trip to Batam or Malaysia. Or you could just book a room for the weekend right here in Singapore! This little holiday will give you and the husband some much needed couple time. Not to mention he’ll be touched that you took the time to plan something!
6. Give him a sexy surprise

6. Give him a sexy surprise

Have a baby sitter watch the kids and surprise your husband at the office. Wear a sexy outfit that he hasn’t seen on you in years and watch his jaw drop. Take him out on an impromptu dinner date at his favourite restaurant afterwards. If you want to stay home and cook dinner for him instead, send a text message or an email with a picture of you wearing sexy lingerie attached and tell him to hurry home so he can eat. This double entendre will have him rushing back home in no time.
7. Work out together

7. Work out together

Set aside some time to exercise together as a couple. Sign you and your husband up for a class together, something like pilates or kickboxing. Studies have shown that couples tend to mirror each other’s fitness regimes. You will find you feel more energetic and less run down after some time. Let your husband know that you want to get back in shape for him and it’ll be easier with a partner to keep you diligent! He will love the thought and want to get in shape for you too!
