Suspended for Long Hair!

A 4-year old boy in Texas, USA has been punished with in-school suspension since November for his hair style. Taylor Pugh's hair is covering his earlobes and reaches his shirt collar.

A 4-year old boy in Texas, USA has been punished with in-school suspension since November for his hair style. Taylor Pugh’s hair is covering his earlobes and reaches his shirt collar. It clearly violates the school district’s policy on hair styles.

Taylor’s parents think that it’s not right to force their child to do something that he doesn’t want to -that is, to have his hair cut. They said that the school district shouldn’t worry about their son’s hair since it doesn’t really affect his education.

On the other hand, the school district said that all students must adhere to the dress code as those who do so are most likely to become responsible members of the society in the future.
