A 52-year-old foreign Doctor from a cruise ship is infected with the swine flu virus, making him the first confirmed case of the disease in Taiwan.

 
 
 

A 52-year-old foreign Doctor from a cruise ship is infected with the swine flu virus, as Taiwan reports first swine flu case.

The male Doctor who arrived by plane from Hong Kong earlier this week is in good condition and is recovering after treatment.

The Centers for Disease Control declined to release the doctor's nationality.
