Attend an A-List party filled with celebs from all over the world, without even having to dress up

How does attending an A-list party at Sentosa (consisting of top stars from all over the world such as Shah Rukh Khan, Leonardo DiCaprio and Andy Lau) sound? Impossible? No, not really!

We visited Madame Tussauds over the weekend and boy, were we star-studded! The well known wax museum opened its doors in 2014 and houses wax figures of celebrities and historical figures, including those of Singapore's.

Madame Tussauds is a wax museum that started from an exhibition in Paris 200 years ago. It currently has 20 Madame Tussauds Museums located all over the world, including 3 in China!

We decided to take the Sentosa Express which started from Sentosa Station at VivoCity level 3. We alighted at Merlion Station and headed to Madame Tussauds, which was less than a 5-minute walk from the station.

When we got there, we went to watch Images of Singapore Live first, which was a 30-minute walk around performance showcasing the history of Singapore – from the Japanese occupation to it being a first world country.

We should also mention that the actors of this performance were really into their roles, clearly providing an almost real enactment of Singapore's History.

After the performance, you can head to the main attraction which is the wax museum. The museum is a one way route and the first stop is History and World Leaders. You'll be greeted with world leaders and historical figures such as Obama, the Royal Family and Lee Kuan Yew.

Look at how realistic the wax figures look! Some of the visitors were so amazed – they just stood there and stared at the wax figures – as if waiting for it to move!

There are also interactive galleries such as the Sports Galleries. Visitors can have their hand at table tennis, basketball and even soccer! Props such as clothes and costumes are also included for visitors to take photos with.

Other galleries include film where movie characters such as E.T. and Audrey Hepburn are. There are also Bollywood stars!

In the music gallery, singers such as Lady Gaga and Beyoncé awaits. Singapore's home grown singers Stefanie Sun and JJ Lin are are in there as well!

When you're done with the tour of the museum, you can head down to the souvenir shop and get a variety of plush toys, trophies and t-shirts.

And that's not all! They also have a boat ride where you'll be greeted with all things Singapore.
