We’re already in the middle of August and as cliche as it sounds, where did all the time go? Last week flew by so fast, there was the nation’s birthday and then the Olympics where Joseph Schooling won our first gold medal and beat the national record. Eventful, we must say! Here’s to another eventful week with these fun-filled events happening through the week.
#1 PLAYtime! The Bird Who was Afraid of Heights
Happening all the way till 28 August, this puppet theatre production will be held at the Esplanade theatre and depicts a story of a mynah who is ironically afraid of heights. Sit back and enjoy this light-hearted performance making his bravest rescue attempt that is adapted from a book of the same name. Timings are limited and tickets are selling fast, so hurry before you miss out!

#2 OverEasy Orchard Guilty Pleasures 90s Sing-a-long
Sing-a-long session Guilty Pleasures is back on 16 Aug with even more throwback tunes that are sure to bring you back to the old secondary school days. This time, there will be a spotlight on 90s-00s music including those of Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Westlife, M2M, Backstreet Boys and more. A segment with KiDG will take place again with the famous lip-sync session. Best part? Entry is free!

#3 The Singapore Bike Show 2016
A motor show but for motorcycles, e-bikes and bicycles, without cars? Count me in! The Singapore Bike Show is Asia’s first ever motor show that doesn’t include cars. Look forward to a full showcase of the world’s latest models and designs of motorcycles, e-bikes and bicycles. This show is also a perfect opportunity for motor associations, manufacturers, distributors, training schools and delivery companies to network!

#4 Active Fitness and Sports 2016
The Active Fitness and Sports 2016 is a 5-hour event that consists of 5 different mass exercises and fitness programs that include Salsation, Piloxing, Cardio Active Kickboxing Fitness: Martial Jam and Self-Defence sessions. You can also try your hand at making a national record of ‘Largest Group of Kickboxing Padwork’ that will be recorded in the Singapore Book Of Records.
