8 ways to show your wife that you love her

8 ways to show your wife that you love her

8 ways to show your wife that you love her

We all know this saying - that actions speak louder than words. How do you thank and show your wife that you love her, without actually having to say the words, "I love you"?

Husbands, don't worry. Read on to find out on the 8 ways in which you can show your wife that you love her, and will have her falling for you all over again.

Help with housework

Help with housework

Not only will this affirm your love for her, but she will also be able to see how much you care for her when you offer to help her with the housework.
Volunteer to help with the kids

Volunteer to help with the kids

Even though she may take charge of the kids and will occasionally ask you to help out, volunteering to help out without being asked to will surprise her - in a good way. She could use the extra help (even if she won't admit it). There's nothing that warms a woman's heart like seeing her husband being a caring and loving father.
Leave a note

Leave a note

It doesn't even have to be anything long or cheesy. A simple note such as 'Have a great day at work, sweetheart!" left on the fridge or next to her handbag will make her smile, and have her thinking about it (and you) all day.
Listen to her

Listen to her

Trust us on this one. Women appreciate a man who listens to her, because it makes her feel loved and important. Take your eyes off of the TV or the phone while she's trying to talk to you, and just listen, and let her vent a little.
Be affectionate

Be affectionate

Give her a kiss when you get home from work, touch the small of her back when you're trying to move past her or even hold her hand when you're both in bed and are not quite ready to sleep yet. All these little affectionate touches will have her feeling extra mushy and loved.
Plan dinner

Plan dinner

There is an assumption that men do not take the initiative to plan dinners or even date nights, and that the woman usually has to do everything. Prove this assumption wrong and make plans for a dinner date, or even cook for her if you're feeling up to it!
Compliment her

Compliment her

Tell her that you like her blouse today, or the way she styled her hair. Little compliments can go a long way.
Surprise her!

Surprise her!

No need for expensive gifts! You could even surprise her with her favourite dessert from the hawker centre, or even with the char kway teow that she's been craving all week. Yum!
