Victoria Beckham parenting her four kids in style is something many mums aspire to. She makes it look so easy. She manages to balance a successful career in fashion with an equally admirable marriage, as she raises four lovely kids – all while in haute couture and high heels.
But though she always appears put-together, even she is not immune to the occasional uncertainties about her parenting decisions.
Here are some down-to-earth Victoria Beckham parenting tips that all of us can relate to and learn from:
Victoria Beckham parenting tip #1: Self-doubt is natural for mums
In an interview on the UK show, The Morning, the stylish mum confesses that, like many parents, she often questions if she is making the right choices for her kids.
“I think as a parent you’re constantly questioning, ‘Am I doing the right thing?'” she says in the interview.
As a working mum, she admits that she can be too “tough” on herself when it comes to parenting.
“You know, we’re tough on ourselves, especially when you’re a working mum,” she confesses, “you’re very tough on yourself. So when you see that your kids are turning out to be really good, kind, happy human beings, you know, what more could you ask for really?”
“Being a mother is simply the greatest achievement of my life,” she wrote in a Mother’s Day article for TIME back in 2015.
Of her motherhood journey, she writes that it constantly “surprises, educates, and confuses” her.
Victoria Beckham parenting tip #2: Inspire kids to dream big and work hard

In the article, she recounts how her own mum and dad encouraged her to go for her dreams.
“I hope that I can do the same with my children. I hope that I, together with their father, inspire them to dream big and be the best version of themselves that they can be,” she writes, adding how like many working mums she feels this constant struggle “to be the best mum she can be, whilst setting a good example to [her] children to work hard.”
Though privileged, the kids obviously don’t take hard work for granted. There’s no doubt this is the influence of their mum and football icon David Beckham who have pursued their passions with dedication.
Their eldest son Brooklyn, 17, is pursing his passion for photography while modelling. Younger brother Romeo, 15, is also making his foray into the fashion world.
As for 12-year-old Cruz, a career in music is what he dreams of, as he’s just signed his own record deal in mid-2017.
Their youngest Harper is probably too young to enter the limelight, but she charmingly takes after both her mum and dad as she’s previously shown a penchant for designing clothes as well as playing football.
Victoria Beckham parenting tip #3: Teach kids to stay humble

In the TIME article, she marvels at just how deep her emotional connection is with her four kids, who she says are “a wonder to [her] every day.”
“They are kind-hearted and well-mannered,” she writes. “I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by these phenomenal human beings.”
She goes on to stress the importance of humility, as one of the values she constantly wants to instill in them, because they are obviously growing up privileged.
Two years on, she still continues to foster this value, from her teenaged son to her youngest, Harper.
“She understands, even at six, that she is very blessed. She’s very lucky to have what she has,” she says.
Kudos to celebrity mum Victoria for striving to raise her kids as humble and grounded as possible!
