Mustafa Centre is referred to many Singaporeans as the ultimate shopping haven for all ages. Also, it’s opened 24 hours. So if you’re looking for instant curry mix but don’t want to deal with the crowd, go to Mustafa centre at 2am and get that curry mix and maybe every other thing as well!
Not familiar with Mustafa Centre? Not to worry, we’ve come up with the ultimate guide to the whole place, so take notes.
The smaller building, which holds entrances 1-3, is located along Serangoon Road and upon entering, you’ll be greeted shelves dedicated to both male and female scents. These scents are also selling at a way cheaper price as compared to the usual price. We’re not kidding, they’re selling Chloé’s 50ml perfume for $85 as compared to the $117 at department stores.
Available in the same level are mainly toiletries ranging from body powder to shaving cream. Apparels are available at Basement 1 and when we say apparel, we mean apparel. No matter what age, size or type, you’ll find whatever it is that you’re looking for here. Even cowboy hats are available!
Electronics are also sold in this building and they’re located in Basement 2. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the variety of brands they house, from Phillips to Audio Technica to Olympus. Also in the same level, you can find swimwear and exercise equipment.
The bigger building in Mustafa Centre
The bigger building holds more grocery items as compared to the smaller building, which means that this building is more patronised! It’s recommended NOT to take the trolley and opt for the basket instead as it’s almost impossible navigating around with the trolley. Not to mention that the lift takes FOREVER to arrive!
We should also add that they have a whole floor-to-ceiling shelf dedicated to instant noodles and some of these brands are available only at Mustafa! Trust us, we know.
Actually, in terms of groceries, they have a wide range of everything. From chilli sauces to milk to even cheeses.
Oh, did we mention that they sell jewellery too? And watches and souvenirs and….okay, the list goes on!
And as form of cherry on top, Mustafa Centre has an Indian Restaurant located at the top level called Kebabs & Curries and yes, they sell AMAZING kebabs. Most times the restaurant will be completely packed so booking is recommended!
There is also a bakery located at level 2 of the grocery building that sells huge pizza slices which are really good, aside from their other bakes such as festive cookies and muffins.
So, are you planning your next trip to Mustafa yet? It’s important to plan your route so you don’t end up getting frustrated with the crowd because you’re walking around in circles trying to find that one particular brand of milk.
