Recently, theAsianparent ran a mega 6-month baby bash for mums who gave birth in January, and faced a dilemma many parents did – what can we have at this party to entertain both the parents and their children?
We had to think about an activity that everyone could participate in, we were absolutely sure we wanted it to be memorable, entertaining, and we wanted all our mums and dads to be able to bring a piece of this memory home.
So we hunted, and we searched, and alas, did we find the perfect addition to our party!
In a nutshell, Ubersnap creates instant animated prints for your guests at the party, and is the world’s first GIF (animated images) printing service. Are you thinking about a normal photobooth? How does Ubersnap work and what do they provide?
The Ubersnap team will be handling all the logistics for their photo printing service on the day. All you need to do is to provide their team with an allocated space for their photobooth and where they’ll record your GIF (animated image).
For hours our mums and dads at our baby bash enjoyed unlimited prints that they could take home minutes after stepping out from behind the camera, and we must say, we saw some pretty hilarious faces that both parents and kids were pulling for the camera!

The entire photobooth experience was very personalised for our party; the prints produced had our chosen logo on them, and our mums and dads’ photos stood out with props and backdrops that were specially made and designed for theAsianparent’s baby bash. The Ubersnap team handled the entire process, from designing these props for us, to physically creating them!

What happens after your guests step out of the photobooth?
Here’s where Ubersnap takes full advantage of the technological advancements that society has made. Almost instantly after stepping out of the photobooth, apart from receiving the prints minutes after, the exact same animated photo of your guests immediately gets sent to their email addresses for them to share and keep! There is also an option for you to project on screen, a live feed of all the GIFs recorded at the photobooth, yet another source of endless entertainment for your guests! Ubersnap also has a free mobile app that your guests can download to get copies of their GIFs that they can share on Facebook, and to capture their own GIFs of your event too.
