The weekend is the time to recharge and connect with your family! Aside from business districts, Singapore is also built with families in mind. Family time does not have to be expensive.
Here are some things to do in Singapore this weekend with your kids.
1. Expo time
Combine bargain-hunting with a day out at a place like Suntec City, which also features a shopping mall where you can keep your children occupied.
This can be one of the good things to do in Singapore this weekend.
You don’t really have to pay for any activities. Walking and window shopping can also be a great time to bond with your kids.
2. Parklife
Parks are parents’ core for their kids’ outdoor learning and Singapore is full of public parks!
Parks offer all sorts of activities, such as biking and roller skating. Have a picnic at Marina Barrage or embark on fitness routes and nature trails at The Southern Ridges.

Why families should be present? Simply because practicing yoga as a family promotes physical activity, relaxation, and mindfulness, fostering a sense of well-being and togetherness.
3. Movie buffs
Cineplexes offer a variety of films and the blockbuster summer movies have just been released.
Try catching the latest movies at Cathay Cineplex or Golden Village!
If you are in for an outdoor watch, consider catching award-winning films at Fort Canning Green, which is still ongoing until August 20, 2023. You can watch new releases and classic movies on the silver, big screen!

4. Buffet treats
Feeling hungry?
Try a 24-hour buffet at the River Garden Coffee House, Cafe Mosaic weekday buffet, or if you’re feeling adventurous, Crab Night at The Greenhouse.
5. Foodie trail
What if you are not famished but simply fed up with the usual fare at food courts and hawker stalls?
Try out some eateries such as the Malaysian Food Street or Food For Thought which include variety and value for money at the same time.
Have you come by around Sentosa? Because there’s an ongoing Sentosa Food Festival 2023, where you and your kids can have a food trip!

7. Indoor play
Escape from the heat of the day at indoor play zones such as Amazonia and Happy Willow. Older children can try their hand at rock climbing at Kinetics Climbing.
