Activities in Bintan

Bintan is blessed with lush greenery surrounded by blue seas. And to understand more about nature in Bintan, take a tour of the Bintan Mangroves. Insurance coverage is provided for all participants. Life jackets are also mandatory.

Cruise down the 6.8 km river, and take in the sights and smells of the natural mangroves. The friendly guide will also explain and point out the flora and fauna, and how the local people lay fishing traps. You might just see them in action!

The mangrove tour is indeed eye-opening, because despite Bintan being developed as a resort, the stretch of mangroves remain intact, thus allowing flora and fauna to continue flourishing.

There are also opportunities to shop for local produce and products at Pasar Oleh Oleh, where one could get souvenirs, or simply soak in the atmosphere of the area.
