But where do we get good food during that time of the month? Listen up, we bring you 8 things to eat in Singapore for when you're broke.

Fun fact, if you order both the Fish and Peanut Porridge and the Fried Economical Beehoon (which also sells for $1), mix the two up and you'll have yourself a delicious combination of the wok hei-infused bee hoon and the flavourful porridge that will provide a texture of similar to stringy shark's fin.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find a $0.60 prata to add to this list but we found a $0.90 one! The Roti Prata House is known for its very unique, fluffy, crispy, deep-fried prata that has seen its super narrow carpark filled with cars every day.

Head over to get your hands on this $0.90 prata and oh, did we mention that they're open 24hrs on Fridays and Saturdays?
