There is a superhero in every child

2 min read
There is a superhero in every child

There is a superhero in every child and as parents, we will have to cultivate the hero potential in our children. We are our children first role model as we spend most of our time with them. Thus, it is important to lay the foundation as the foundation helps to build up their character. I allow my child to make decisions in his day to day life as this will increase his self confidence. Moreover, he will be able to learn if he makes any wrong decisions.

One of the superpower my little boy have, is the power of caring for others. When he sees his little sister crying, he will put aside what he is doing and he will go over to his sister side and pat her to comfort her. When he goes to the playground, he will extend his hand out to help others get up the playground which resulted in new friendship being formed. When his classmates fell down in class, my son will go over and pat them on their shoulder to comfort them. When his cousin's lantern got blown away by the wind, he was the first to run after the lantern and got it back for her.

Everyday, without fail, I will set aside 30 minutes of uninterrupted time with my children. Knowing your child love language is important as well, and for my son, his love language is quality time. When our children love language is filled, they will be able to excel in the things they do.

My son superpower is the power of care and I am looking forward to learn more about his hidden superpowers together.

I am looking forward to the launch of the Marvel X Mayer Collection by Mayer Singapore! It’s sleek and cool design will excite my little heroes!
