Singaporean Singer Tay Kewei Gives Birth To A Beautiful Baby Boy

Congratulations to the family!

It must be something in the air, or it’s the season of babies for Singaporean celebs! On Sunday, we brought you the news of the birth of Jamie Yeo’s son.

And just yesterday morning (September 27) another star gave birth to a son – this time local singer Tay Kewei.

As reported in Toggle, Kewei started contractions on the morning of 26 September, and they lasted until mid-afternoon. The 34-year-old songstress was admitted to Parkway East Hospital soon after that.

Kewei and her partner Alfred Sim welcomed their gorgeous baby boy to the world yesterday morning, reportedly weighing a healthy  3.27kg.

The little one has been named Shen Mo.

According to reports, the little one was initially to be born on September 23. But, being huge fans of Hong Kong Heavenly King Andy Lau, the couple really wished for the baby to share the same birthday. And it looks like the little one listened!

A special trailer episode for the second season of the stars’ reality series Married, And Then? documents the moments leading up to delivery, the birth and all the emotions that followed after.

The newest little Sim has been described by his proud mummy as having very “agile” eyes.

Kewei and Sim dated for 10 years before getting married in 2015. They announced their pregnancy on an episode of Married, And Then?. They continued to update their followers  on their life as a married couple and parents-to-be, and now we hope to accompany them on their journey as new parents!

Congratulations from us all to the beautiful family!
