NannyStreet is the first confinement nanny digital platform in Singapore aimed at connecting parents-to-be with an experienced pool of confinement nannies.
NannyStreet allows parents-to-be to communicate and negotiate directly with potential confinement nannies via text messaging and voice/video calls on the platform regarding the job scope and pricing. Once an agreement has been reached, the parents will have to pay for the nanny’s deposit to confirm the arrangement.
Since launching the app in August 2022, NannyStreet has already helped 619 users and onboarded over 300 experienced confinement nannies on the platform. Each confinement nanny that comes on board has undergone a strict screening process and background checks.
For example, the platform only accepts nannies with a minimum of 3 years of work experience and who have worked in Singapore before while possessing a good understanding of the local culture.
NannyStreet runs stringent checks for confinement nanny applicants based on their job records from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and will check for any red flags to ensure the quality of the confinement nannies available on their platform.

How to Use NannyStreet
There are 3 simple steps for parents-to-be to be matched with their ideal confinement lady:
Step 1: Parents-to-be must submit the estimated due date (EDD) and fill in their confinement nanny criteria.
Step 2: After the initial screening, parents-to-be will get to interview shortlisted confinement nannies to negotiate job descriptions, compensation, and any other special requests to ensure that both parties are in agreement. Parents can communicate directly with the potential confinement nannies via text messaging, voice or video call using NannyStreet’s platform.
Step 3: Once an agreement has been reached and an offer has been made, the confinement nanny’s deposit will be paid by credit card by the parents-to-be to secure the arrangement.
