Swim schools in Singapore

Swimming is a great exercise for kids. It is not only a really good physical activity but it can also help with the mental well-being of your child — plus it’s lots of fun!

Personally, I’ve always thought of swimming as being good for the soul!

Swimming lessons can give children confidence in the water, improve their technique and, most importantly, provide them with safety awareness.

Here’s the thing — you want to be sure that your child enjoys learning water skills, but it’s also vital they understand how to be safe and independent in the water. So, you need a swim school that offers this balance.

Choosing a swim school for your child might fill you with dread, but don’t let it be so! To get you started, we’ve put together this list of the best swim schools for kids in Singapore.

1. Swimfast Aquatic

1. Swimfast Aquatic

Swimfast Aquatic Group caters to kids aged 4 and above. They provide both group and private lessons at various venues like ACS Barker and Raffles Institution.

Kids aged 4 years old and above follow the Learn-to-Swim program where they learn basic water skills, proper stroke techniques including breathing techniques and coordination.

Other programs which the school provides consist of Competitive Swimming and Stroke Correction.

Swimfast places important focus on teaching swimmers the proper techniques and has a structured path from the basics to training competitively. If you are looking to groom your child to be the next national swimmers, the Competitive Swimming program is your answer - Tao Li, Joseph Schooling, Quah Ting Wen, Quah Zheng Wen and Amanda Lim are part of their elite swimming team!

Prices: Competitive starts from $125 per month, Learn-to-Swim starts from $33 per lesson.

What we love: Their pool venues are exclusive use during lesson times, so there will be no overcrowding situations in the pool!
