Run out of ideas for the weekend? Here’s what you can do with your family today. Why have mindless fun with your kids when you can educate them in the process? Read on…

Weekend fun activity: MindFestMindFest is an annual festival, organised by the Science Centre Singapore with the aim to bring together “playful inventors” of all ages.  Now into its 7th year at the Science Centre, participants of MindFest 2012 can choose from several exciting activities. Public can join the activities on 24 and 25 March. So, you have only two days to catch this!

Venture on to the Singapore Science Centre for some fun-filled hands-on sessions where we engage you meaningfully in the learning and exploration of science. Each activity is specially designed to cover science concepts through playful experimentations.  Participants will get to take back some of their creative works.  There are 8 activities for your kids to choose from:

Air Rocket; Air Cannon; Infinity Mirror; Light Catcher; Light Painting; Magic Wand; Wind Blades; and Wind Tubes.

Date: 24 – 25 March 2012

Venue: The Marquee, Science Centre Singapore

Time: 10am to 6pm, open daily

Place: Science Centre admission rates apply. $3 per set of activity materials
