The holidays are coming up, but there’s always time for fun education! Science Club Singapore is bringing a whole range of subjects in their Summer Camp from June to August. Here are just some of the many camps.

Science Explorers
Children experience fun hands-on activities which integrate Science Technology Engineering and Math. This 5 day camp will make them explore the 5 elements of nature through fun, play and scientific enquiry.
Age – 3 yrs to 5 yrs, 6 yrs to 8 yrs , 9 yrs to 12 yrs
Duration – 2.5 hrs (5 days)

Math Mania
Math doesn’t have to be drab all the time. Their Math mania camp centers around hands-on learning which makes Math fun, reinforces learning and help kids remember facts through interesting math projects.Children get a unique opportunity to play games, make art, explore, think, solve problems, imagine and have fun. All session include fun hands-on activities and are related to school topics.

Creative Computing
Creative computing is about creativity. Computer science and computing-related fields have long been introduced to young people in a way that is disconnected from their interests and values – emphasizing technical detail over creative potential. Creative computing supports the development of personal connections to computing, by drawing upon creativity, imagination, and interests.
What is the platform?
Built by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Scratch is an innovative platform that exposes kids to drag and drop programming environment. With Scratch, people can create a wide variety of interactive media projects – animations, stories, games, and more – and share those projects with others in an online community.
Program Goals
Students learn to build stories using simple programming tools.
Age – 6 yrs to 12 yrs
Duration – 2.5 hrs (5 days)

Meet The Entrepreneurs
Students meet real life entrepreneurs, understand how a real business is created and the challenges faced. Students engage in kinaesthetic activities, develop team building skills, hone creative writing, presentation and public speaking skills over the 5 day period. Students think about helping the community, build thinking skills, ideating and learn the important concept of overcoming failure. The week ends with students making a a pitch to prospective investors.
