These gorgeous "plates of food art" by a mum will leave you stunned!

17 Dec, 2015

Check out these works of edible art created by Aussie mummy Laleh Mohmedi.

They are the latest food art creations to go viral and will leave mums stunned at their detailed beauty, and fussy eater pleading for more!

Laleh works as a senior medical recruitment consultant, and states that she has always been a big advocate of healthy, organic food for children. As such, all the ingredients she uses are wholesome and so good for little tummies.

According to this creative mum, "Every night before bed, Jacob requests a character that he would like for me to make the next day. These characters are from books, toys, cartoons or something that has caught his eye that day. He has even asked for Michael Jackson!"

Check out these gorgeous creations now.

Lion King

Check out these edible Disney masterpieces that have the diabolical Scar looking down on Simba once more.

Scar here is made out of Spelt pancakes with oranges. His mane is formed with sliced plums and apple letters finish up the dish.

Simba here is formed with Lentils, rice, whole meal wrap and zucchini letters.

Minions

Minions

From the old classics to the new, this 31-year-old Mum certainly whips up meals that are instantly recognisable.

Check out these adorable Minions!

On the left you see a Fruit Minion with a scrambled eggs body and wholemeal wrap.

His evil counterpart is made with wholemeal pearl couscous paired with chicken and veggies, enoki mushrooms and wholemeal wrap.

Purple carrots were used to dye the couscous and enoki mushrooms.

Feeling green?

Feeling green?

These two dishes encapsulate the 2 emotions that many toddlers display: rage and serenity!

The Incredible Hulk (besides gamma radiation) has kale, macadamia and potato fritters in it, along with homemade tomato relish and a wholemeal wrap.

The Force is not needed for Yoda, only Grass-fed scotch fillet with pea and potato mash and the addition of enoki mushrooms and wholemeal wrap, finishing off with carrot letters.

Growing up

Growing up

From the adorable child in The Good Dinosaur to Arthur from Arthur Christmas, human faces and figures prove to be no obstacle for this mum as she creates these plates of art.

On the left, this cute child is formed using braised beef with sweet potato/potato mash, spinach, carrot, chia seed freckles, wholemeal wrap and free range ham nipples.

Arthur, meanwhile, has grass fed beef with Parsnip and Beetroot mash, spinach, capsicum and carrot on his plate.

These familiar Disney creations are just too adorable!

Sweet Timon tastes equally sweet, with Spelt, vanilla, chocolate pancakes and apple.

Accompanying Timon is not Pumbaa but Dumbo made of Steamed Wild Australian Salmon with rice (dyed with a tiny bit of squid ink), corn, capsicum and carrot letters.
