Korean superstars and celebrity couple Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo got married today (31 October).
The wedding took place at 4 pm at a Korean-style banquet annex, Yeong Bin Gwan, at The Shilla Seoul in South Korea.

While very few details of the ceremony have been made public, the couple previously confirmed that there will be no wedding officiant, but that Song Joong-ki’s long-time friend of will host the ceremony.
Star-studded Wedding
Blossom Entertainment on Monday October 30 told Korean media that actor Park Bo Gum, who shares the same agency as Song Joong-ki’s, “will be playing the piano at the couple’s wedding.”
Meanwhile, Singer-turned-musical actress Ock Joo Hyun, a longtime friend of Song Hye-kyo, will be singing at the wedding.
Another long-time friend of Song Joong-ki, actor Lee Kwang Soo will also be attending the wedding. “He will be reciting a letter,” King Kong by Starship Entertainment, the actor’s agency, confirmed.
Only family and friends were invited to the highly guarded wedding, but according to media reports, an estimated 250-300 guests attended the event.
SongSong Couple
The couple was first reported to be dating since March 2016 but flatly denied the rumors until July 5 this year when their respective agencies announced their wedding plans. The couple later addressed their fans in two separate letters.
Neither Song Joong-ki nor Song Hye-kyo has revealed plans for after the wedding, although there have been reports that the couple will jet off to Europe for their honeymoon.
Earlier this year, Song Joong-ki bought a two-storey house with a basement in the wealthy neighbourhood of Itaewon-dong for 10 billion won (Php460 million). Reports say it may be the couple’s new address.
Dubbed as the SongSong Couple, the celebrity couple met while filming the 2016 hit Korean drama series Descendants of the Sun.
The much-awaited wedding event was attended by some of South Korea’s brightest stars including Park Bo-gum, Kim Ji-won, Lee Kwang-soo and more!
