South Korean superstars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are officially divorced today, the actress’s agency confirmed.
The Seoul Family Court approved the divorce settlement in a closed-door hearing that was attended only by legal representatives of the two actors.

The Song Joong Ki-Song Hye Kyo marriage came to an when the actor filed for divorce on 26 June, only 1 year and 8 months since the tightly-guarded “Song Song Couple wedding,” in October 2017.
Hye Kyo’s agency UAA issued a statement published by Korean news site Osen, writing in Korean which roughly translated to: “We are announcing the completion of the mediation process by divorcing [Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo] without alimony or property division.”
According to media reports, the Descendants of the Sun couple are estimated to be worth around $130 million. This included the 10 billion won ($11.7 million). Itaewon house which rumoured to be the couple’s marital home.

The two actors met at the set of the 2016 hit Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun,” where he played Special Forces captain Yoo Si-jin and she, his love interest, doctor Kang Mo-yeon.
After denying their romantic relationship on multiple occasions, the Korean drama golden couple announced their wedding plans in July 2017. They then tied the knot in a private ceremony at a five-star hotel in Seoul in October of the same year.
