Smigy Playground Singapore: Activities, Ticket Prices, And A New Outlet To Check Out

4 min read

We live in a digital age and yes, screen time comes at a pittance to today’s kids. We also understand that it’s unavoidable given how dependent we are on our devices. So, let’s not kid ourselves, digital screens aren’t going away and we will have fewer opportunities to avoid them as we go forward.

However, that does not mean your kids abandon the playground completely. Nothing beats the good ol’ slide, swings and other attractions, with the sun shining bright and all of your child’s muscles working in harmony to give them some old-school physical activity.

But if the outdoors feel a bit mainstream for now, you can always look at the several indoor parks around Singapore. Your kids can never get bored at a good indoor playground in Singapore.

They can take a pick from interactive play areas, playgrounds to the classic gyms. Even though there are plenty of options to choose from, the Smigy playground in Singapore remains a popular spot with the Easties.

It’s located at Paya Lebar Quarter and is also one of the largest at 5,000 sq ft.

So mums and dads, if you are in the East and on the lookout for a good indoor playground to take your kids along, you must surely give the Smigy playground a try.

Here’s everything you need to know about the indoor playground before planning a trip.

Can’t make it all the way to the East? Don’t worry. Smigy recently opened its new outlet at Tiong Bahru Plaza. You can take your kids to check out the area.

The new outlet is a 3,800 sq. ft. indoor kids playground that includes a sandpit, ball pit, a mini carousel, and a race track that circles all around the playground. The little ones can also climb into the second level of the play structure where they will get to pretend-play for chefs, princesses, supermarkets employees and much more.
While the Smigy Tiong Bahru outlet may seem smaller in comparison to its PLQ mall outlet, it doesn’t lose on any fun quotient.

Located: Level 2 Tiong Bahru Plaza

Do note that we are still in the middle of the pandemic and the new COVID variant Omicron has arrived on the block.  It’s still not the time to let our guards down. So wear your masks, sanitise your hands and avoid going to crowded places.
