Singapore youths go green

About 150 youths from various secondary schools all over the island have been tasked to become ambassadors for the environment. Since October, they have been receiving training from the National Environment Agency on how to spread environment-friendly messages to the people in their respective communities.

These youths were first sent out to do their job at the national Clean and Green Singapore Carnival that was held in the middle of November this year. Since then, they have been organising community events to raise people’s awareness on initiatives that promote a clean and green environment.

Let’s help them do their job as clean and green ambassadors by doing our part in taking care of the environment. We can teach our kids not to litter and to recycle things. Make them understand that little steps make a big difference.
