It’s the start of the P1 registration, parents! Have you read the estimated dates for 2023 primary school schedules? If not yet, this article is intended for you. Usually, the classes for primary schools start every first month of the year and its school calendar varies each year, of course, in accordance with the school’s administration and local holidays. The primary students who are eligible are required to register a year before the start of the school year. Children usually begin their formal education at the age of 6 or 7 years old. It really depends if your child is ready but there is an appropriate age range per primary school levels.

If you are a first-time parent, the typical day in a primary school usually starts at 7:30 in the morning for a flag ceremony. Afterwards, each subject has a period of about 30 minutes to an hour. The school also allows 30 minutes of break time for children to eat their snacks and most of the time, to socialize as well. It usually takes only half day; hence, class ends at about 1:00 in the afternoon.
