Looking to make your home greener and your utility bills lighter? Here’s some fantastic news—from 15 April 2025, eligible households in Singapore can claim up to 400 dollars in Climate Vouchers to help offset the cost of more energy- and water-efficient appliances and fittings.
This is part of the enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP), a national initiative that makes it easier and more affordable for Singaporeans to take climate action right from home.
What Are Climate Vouchers?
Climate Vouchers are part of the government’s push to encourage more sustainable living. They’re digital vouchers that households can use to buy energy- and water-efficient products. Not only do these upgrades reduce your environmental impact, but they also help cut down on electricity and water bills over time.
Previously, only HDB households could claim up to 300 dollars. But here’s the new deal:
What’s New from 15 April 2025?
-
All Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident (PR) households living in HDB flats can now receive an additional 100 dollars, bringing the total to 400 dollars.
-
Singapore Citizen households living in private residential properties will now also be eligible for the full 400 dollars in vouchers for the first time.
That means even more Singaporean households—from HDBs to condos to landed homes—can now make smart, eco-conscious upgrades at home.
What Can the Vouchers Be Used For?
You can use your vouchers at over 180 participating retailers to purchase a wide range of eligible energy- and water-efficient products, including:

A Green Initiative that Helps Singaporean Families
The enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme supports Singapore’s broader environmental goals by helping residents switch to appliances and fittings that use less water and energy.
This is a joint initiative by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, and it reflects Singapore’s strong commitment to sustainability, resilience, and a climate-ready future.
By making small changes at home, each household can play a big part in reducing the nation’s carbon footprint—and save money in the process.
