According to Harian Metro, Wan Razali Wan Mohd from Terengganu, Malaysia reportedly sold off his motorcycle in the past to fund his daughter’s college fees.
Wan Razali told the media outlet that it was difficult for him to sell the motorcycle as the Honda EX5 was a gift from his late wife about 20 years ago. He also added that the motorcycle held many memories for him.
“It was sad as the motorcycle had a sentimental value. It was a precious gift that was given to me by my wife when she was still alive,” says Wan Razali, as per Mothership.
When his wife passed away from a fever, Wan Razali was left unemployed. But as a father, he still had the responsibility of his family and needed to support them financially.
So despite its sentimental value, Wan Razali had to let go of his motorcycle to pay for his daughter’s school fees.

Wan Razali’s daughter, Wan Nuraisyah, decided to give something back to her father for all the sacrifices he made for their family.
To return the favour for selling his motorcycle to pay for her school, Wan Nuraisyah decided to surprise her father with a thoughtful gift on his 58th birthday. She bought him a brand new motorcycle!
In her TikTok video, the father was seemingly touched and got quite emotional. The post has now garnered over 500 likes as netizens applauded the sweet gesture.
“My father has given up a lot, including the motorcycle given by my late mother, to ensure that I can continue my studies. I now have a job and a stable income,” said Wan Nuraisyah.
Not surprisingly, when received the gift, Wan Razali admitted that he wasn’t expecting anything in return from his daughter. He says, “All I did was carry out my responsibility as a father.”
