In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year, Paragon’s Hello Summer 2025 transforms the iconic Orchard Road mall into a vibrant stage for homegrown artists. Running from 19 July to 9 August 2025, the campaign spotlights local talent, reinforcing national pride through music, creativity, and cultural expression.
With daily live performances at the L1 Linkway, Paragon proves that luxury and artistry can coexist, nurturing Singapore’s creative community while delighting shoppers and visitors with dynamic musical showcases.
Homegrown Talent Takes Centre Stage
The lineup highlights some of Singapore’s most exciting performers:
-
Charlene Su Trio – The bilingual singer-songwriter behind “I Like Red” (11 million Spotify streams) leads a soulful, pop-infused performance.
-
Mikkel Myer Lee – A 12-year-old piano prodigy praised for his Beethoven sonatas and global stage presence.
-
Elizabeth Saw – A pop pianist and Mando-pop songwriter who blends classical roots with modern pop-rock ambitions.
-
NTU Jazz & Blues and NUS Acapella’s Under the Covers – Student groups breathing new life into jazz classics and viral R&B covers.
-
Yvette Atienza Jazz Trio – A veteran of Singapore’s jazz scene, adding Latin flair and swing to the series.
These diverse performances showcase Singapore’s rich cultural tapestry, blending modern pop, jazz, Mando-pop, and classical elements.
Interactive Performances and Fresh Collaborations
One of the campaign’s most talked-about acts is the Human Jukebox, featuring Joanna Lim, Joel Chua, Eugene Chew, and Anson Koh. This interactive performance allows audiences to change the song, genre, or tempo in real time—making every show unique.
Adding a modern twist, DJ x Strings—a collaboration between electronic artist MYRNE, violinist David Loke, and cellist Judy Tsai—fuses electronic beats with live strings, creating a bold and unexpected soundscape.
Championing Local Artists and Inclusivity
Paragon’s Hello Summer 2025 is more than entertainment; it’s a celebration of inclusivity and cultural growth. Performers from diverse backgrounds, including Heeru Fernandes of Inclusive Arts Movement (I.A.M.), demonstrate how music can bridge communities while empowering underrepresented voices.
By giving these artists a prominent stage, Paragon strengthens Singapore’s creative ecosystem, showing how commercial spaces can play a meaningful role in cultural development.
SG60 Reflection: A Celebration of Local Talent
As Singapore celebrates SG60, Paragon’s Hello Summer campaign stands as a reminder that national pride is as much about supporting local talent as it is about celebrating milestones. Each performance reflects the creativity, diversity, and ambition that define modern Singapore, turning Paragon into a symbol of unity through music and culture.
