The SG60 Heart & Soul Experience invites Singaporeans and visitors to explore the nation’s journey and imagine what lies ahead. Running from 26 August to 31 December 2025 at Orchard Library, with additional free installations at Orchard Central and orchardgateway atria, this immersive showcase is part of the SG60 celebrations.
An Immersive, Free Showcase with Generative AI
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and the National Library Board (NLB), the experience uses storytelling and generative AI to tailor each visitor’s journey and bring Singapore’s narrative to life through the visitor’s eyes.
Created by the team behind the Bicentennial Experience and SG50 Future of Us exhibition, this flagship event features content contributed by over 110 partners across public, private, and community sectors.
What to Expect at the Ticketed Main Experience (Orchard Library, Levels 3 & 4)
Personalised Multisensory Journey
Each 60- to 90-minute session begins with arrival at the library, where you receive a multimedia guide and are greeted by digitally illustrated bookshelves. In a futuristic phone booth, you select your interests (in any of the four official languages) and may upload or choose a photo to generate a personalised avatar.
Wheels of Time

Experience Singapore’s transformation—from handwritten letters to digital communication—through immersive audio-visual storytelling.
Windows in the Sky

A dramatic, floor-to-ceiling sensory environment where AI generates personalised future scenarios. This area culminates in a short, AI-produced “future self” trailer starring the visitor.
Library Superstore

A whimsical “retail-style” area showcasing real and conceptual products from the future, plus interactive stations like “Call Me in the Future”.
Curiocity

Explore Singapore’s urban transformation, spanning districts like Changi, Kallang, Southern Waterfront, Bukit Timah, and more through interactive mapping.
World 60

Inspired by the iconic Holland Village Thambi Magazine Store, this installation features 61 newspaper front pages from 1965 to today, spotlighting significant global and local milestones.
Home is a Feeling

At the journey’s end, visitors receive a commemorative bookmark with a QR code linking to their personalised future trailer.
