“Let’s Celebrate” Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary at Kumoya
We can’t remember a time when Sesame Street wasn’t around. But not many will know the origins of the popular educational TV show. Sesame Workshop’s original aim was to use cartoons to educate. Fast forward 50 years later, the cast and crew have helped children in over 150 countries. Now, their mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder while having a lot of fun.
And to celebrate the 50th anniversary, there’s a lot of fun to be had! Kumoya has teamed up with Sesame Street so you can meet Elmo and the gang in Singapore!
The French-Japanese-inspired cafe is transformed into a Sesame Street-themed cafe with a delicious and fun Sesame Street-inspired menu, crafted by the brilliant minds of award-winning Shirley Wong and Kumoya’s in-house kitchen team.
Food that’ll leave you saying “Om Nom Nom”!
The curated menu will bring the best of Japanese cuisine in adorable, Sesame Street style!
Sharing is caring when you order Truffle Chicken Spam Fries (S$13.90) or Karaage Chicken with Shoyu Glaze (S$13.90).
When it’s time to chow down, get stuck in with Oscar’s teriyaki chicken katsu burger (S$24.90).
Or you might fancy Cookie Monster’s Om NOM NOM Japanese Croquette rice with cream sauce, with croquettes shaped like cookies!
Desserts are equally tasty and super fun like the sparkly Abby Cadabby’s magical rainbow pancakes!
Don’t miss out on Big Bird’s mango kiwi Shibuya toast (S$27.90) with macarons of our favourite characters, butter cookies, and a rainbow lollipop sprinkled with rainbow cereal.
You can wash it down with a cooling giant kawaii Cute Fruit Elmo Red Soda (S$15.90). Grownups can enjoy a “LA LA LA” Elmo hot latte (S$10.90) to round off the meal.
There’s a minimum spend of S$10 per person. But if you spend over S$128 in a single receipt, you stand a chance to win a giant Cookie Monster Plush that retails for S$169! The winner will be selected at the end of the pop-up cafe in December!
