This November, gear up for a month of scientific goodness with Science Centre Singapore’s line-up of exciting activities and exhibitions, ready for budding young scientists to unearth new knowledge, and be inspired by the wonders of STEM.

The fate of Our Earth is in your hands, are you game enough to save it? Join us for #UNTAMEreboot, our online interactive platform where you can help restore ravaged environments back to their pristine state in a series of mini-games, video quizzes and exciting real-world activities! Attractive prizes are also up for grabs!

UNTAME Day
20 November – 28 November 2021, Science Centre Singapore
Make way for some Unadulterated Fun with UNTAME Day! Discover how to weave some upcycling magic and transform used items into beautiful creations through an array of fun activities and workshops at Science Centre Singapore! Plus, find out how you can be part of our record-breaking event!

UNTAME After Dark
3 December – 5 December 2021, Science Centre Singapore
Sun’s down, light’s up! Join us for a unique experience at Science Centre Singapore as it opens its doors for this special after dark event! See fan favourite exhibitions in a completely different light, catch cool performances, feast on savoury food and be amazed by the spectacles of lights and colours in the Dazzling Light Installation!

2. International Science Centre and Science Museum Day

Celebrate International Science Centre and Science Museum Day by embarking on a special photo journey in our galleries. Snap at least 5 pictures with selected exhibits, learn about the various Sustainable Development Goals and redeem a token* upon completing the International Science Centre Day Photo Journey.

*These activities are complimentary for Science Centre Singapore ticket holders. Do approach our staff on ground for more information or assistance.

3. KidsSTOPTM Academy Activities Week

KidsSTOPTM Activities Week is back this school holiday! Children will learn about science through creating and playing with their DIY handicraft and what’s more, they get to bring their creation home too!

Lightning Bug
Did you know that some insects like the fireflies use light at night to attract prey? Learn more about insects by making a lightning bug.

Monarch Butterfly
Did you know that Monarch caterpillars are greedy eaters? Learn more about the life cycle of Monarch Butterfly by making a butterfly craft.

Sea Jelly Light
Create a light inspired by the bioluminescent sea jelly. Watch as it glows in the dark and discover why!

Penguin Coasters
Did you know penguins can stay in the icy waters for a long time? Join us to learn how penguins can keep dry in the cold, icy waters of Antarctica by making a penguin coaster.

5. Dinosaurs of Antarctica “IG Photo Contest”

This school holidays, journey to the south polar landscapes of Antarctica millions of years ago at Science Centre Singapore’s latest Omni-Theatre show, Dinosaurs of Antarctica. At the same time, catch our roving Dinosaur mascot on 20 or 21 November from 10am – 3pm to win exclusive Science Centre Singapore merchandise.

Tinker your way into a sustainable future! Simply walk in and participate in one or two or more specially curated activities.

Eco-friendly Ornaments
Spare a thought for the environment this Christmas. Surprise yourself with unwanted piles of recycled junk in the Tinkering Studio waiting to be upcycled into garland and Christmas tree ornaments.

Solar Energy
Solar panels can produce electricity from not only sunlight, but also from artificial light sources. Experiment in learning how to convert light into energy through photovoltaic cells and directly powering DC electrical devices. Learn to read the DC voltages using a voltmeter.
