With school holidays just around the corner, it is time to pay a visit Singapore Zoo with your kids. Not only is it a great picnic spot, but it also serves as an ideal location for out-of-school learning.
Especially now, as Singapore Zoo and River Wonders Singapore will feature a fantastical Brickosaurs World. It will display over 60 life-sized dinosaurs from November 13, 2021, to May 3, 2022.
The highlight of this display are the dinosaurs that are made from 1.5 million Lego bricks, constructed over 8,548 hours.
This will be the first-ever such showcase in Asia. Let us take you through what you will experience here.

There’s a lot of fun activities in store for your kids. The event will feature a maze of puzzles and hidden clues. Plus, you’ll be able to spot a T-Rex too.
You can keep your little ones busy at the craft workshops, where they can make their own dino masks and mini figurines using recycled materials and origami techniques.
They have also set up an outdoor Lego pop-up store, at Singapore Zoo’s Pavilion by the Lake.

How To Reach Brickosaurs World: Singapore Zoo Opening Hours

The Singapore Zoo is operating in a limited capacity. Therefore, you need to reserve a designated arrival time before your visit and enter the park also within 45 minutes of that time.
Opening hours: It is open from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Note that the last entry is at 5 pm. Also, do keep in mind that weekends, school holidays and public holidays will naturally see more footfall.
Location: 80 Mandai Express, Singapore 729826. You have the option to choose from shuttle, taxi, public bus or cab to reach the destination.
As higher Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) is being implemented from October 13, here’s what visitors need to note:
- Always pre-book your visit date and also the time.
- Guests should follow all the social gathering group sizes of a maximum of 2 people.
- Unvaccinated kids, those who are 12 years and below, may be included within the group of two.
- Note that if both visitors are kids aged 12 and below, they must be from the same house. However, a vaccinated individual, who is aged over 12 years, may accompany a child from a different household.
- Private buggy tours are also capped at a group size of up to 2 people.
- Animal token feedings are to be done in pairs only.
River Safari Opening Hours
A trip to the Singapore zoo is incomplete if you don’t visited the River Wonders, formerly known as River Safari. It is a river-themed zoo and aquarium located in Singapore.
It is built over 12 hectares and is situated between its two sections of the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, Singapore.
Timing: 10 am to 7 pm. The last entry is at 6 pm.
As for the admission ticket prices, it is S$ 38 for an adult and S$ 26 for a child.
While you are inside the park, don’t for to wear your masks and keep the hands sanitised.
