Tear-free, soap-free, paraben-free, Wash & Shampoo is a 2-in-1 product that can be used on both baby’s skin and hair. The first thing that struck me as I squeezed a little of it on my hands is its light, dewy scent. I next noticed that you don’t need a lot of the product to work up a reasonable lather – and that’s perfect because it means one bottle can last us for longer. With a tear-free formula, it was no wonder Amber had a splashing good time in her tub that day! I’m hoping that her dry scalp issue (she still has that small patch of cradle cap) will gradually improve as I continue using this gentle product daily.

After bath time, I applied the Daily Moisture Lotion all over Amber, concentrating on her knees and legs as she’s always trying (without success, haha!) to crawl these days. The lotion helps care for chafed skin and it moisturizes for a full 24 hours. Upon application, it absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. Most importantly, it is alcohol-free and gentle enough even for newborns. I rely on moisturisers to keep her skin soft, supple and hydrated as she spends a lot of time in air-conditioned rooms. I really like that this lotion is fragrance-free and I can see myself reaching for this regularly to protect her delicate skin.
For mommy: Aveeno Body Daily Moisturizing Body Wash and Lotion
Never one to apply skincare products religiously on myself, I have cracked elbows and heels due to years of neglect. But what a difference just one application of the Daily Moisturizing Lotion made! I am not exaggerating – in just one application, my dry, cracked heels stopped making the annoying scratchy sound as my feet rub against the bedsheet (yes they’re that bad!). It is a big deal to me because Amber is such a light sleeper, she has startled awake so many times because of this *guffaws*. I also applied it on a persistent itchy area on my calf and am happy to report that there is a marked improvement after a few days of continuous usage.
The Daily Moisturizing Body Wash combines Colloidal Oatmeal with natural oils and rich emollients to lock in – and replenish – moisture for softer, smoother skin while cleansing. I have tried a few moisturising body washes and some leave my skin feeling oiler than they should. I don’t get the greasy feeling with this one!
