MediaCorp’s Edmund Chen, in a recent interview at Pro-teach Education Center, said he has no qualms about his son, Chen Xi 17, entering the world of showbiz. We all know that being in showbiz is not as easy and glamorous as it seems to be. Is it wise for Mr. Chen to allow his son to take on this path?
For this local artiste however, the possibility of having his whole family in showbiz is an exciting prospect. His wife is MediaCorp Studios veteran actress Xiang Yun. He thinks that it would be fun to be able to do what he loves most with his family. He says that there are many good things about showbiz, but he acknowledges that there are drawbacks and challenges as well. But this doesn’t deter him from letting his son enter the world of show business.
