ParentTown Mid-Year Rewards: Win a Sunday brunch experience for 2 adults and 2 children worth $510 at mezza9.

mezza9 is the city’s most stylish venue for an award-winning Sunday Brunch that’s thoughtfully sourced and carefully served. At Grand Hyatt Singapore, the guiding food philosophy is simple: “to serve people, serve the community and serve the planet” with food that is thoughtfully sourced, carefully served.

The mezza9 kitchen is led by Executive Sous Chef Martin Satow, a Hamburg native who specialises in seafood. Chef Martin’s strong advocacy for sustainable seafood during his tenure in Andaz Liverpool, London in 2012 saw the restaurant ‘Catch’ become one of the top three sustainable seafood restaurants in the UK, certified by Fish2 Fork.

No matter what guests pick out from the sumptuous fare during brunch, a great deal of thought and care has gone into each dish. Having been awarded Chain of Custody (CoC) certifications by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), Grand Hyatt Singapore features plentiful, healthful options alongside indulgent yet sustainable ones, like Maine lobster, Scottish brown crab, Spencer Gulf king prawns and Pacific rock oysters.

Stronger focus on sustainable seafood and farming practices

mezza9 has strengthened partnerships with the creators of the produce served in mezza9’s Sunday brunch which showcases and highlights signature products from farmers, butchers, fishermen and artisan cheese makers.

What to expect

Soak in the lively atmosphere of this dynamic restaurant as you enjoy nine different dining experiences in one venue, complete with free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut champagne, premium red and white wines, beers, mojitos and bloody marys for SGD 148.00++. Stretched across six show kitchens, enjoy the theatrics of live cooking as chefs cook up mouth-watering dishes from each counter.

Enjoy hearty selections from the grill including: a weekly changing selection of spit-roasted whole Australian Dorper lambs or German free-range pork leg, grass-fed Tomahawk steak, Kurobuta pork chops and grass-fed charolais beef entrecôte baguette.

From the deli, a bountiful selection of sustainable seafood ranging from a rotation of seasonal oysters such as Fine de Claire (France) and Pacific rock oysters (USA), Maine lobsters, Scottish brown crab, Spencer Gulf wild king prawns and more. Continue with premium cold cuts from charcuterie Bordelaise, along with a selection of international artisan cheeses from MONS, homemade breads and more.

From the thai kitchen, their resident Thai chef prepares authentic Thai appetisers such as som tam (shredded green papaya salad, snake bean, tomato, dried shrimp and ground peanut) and gai yang char-grilled chicken thighs (tamarind and pandan sauce).

From the steam basket, savour a variety of Chinese dishes that are steamed, wok-fried or roasted. Highlights include roasted suckling pig, crispy soon hock fillet in premium soy sauce, Sri Lankan mud crabs in chilli sauce, stir-fried white pepper organic John Stone black angus beef.

From the sushi bar, be won over by an array of freshly-prepared sustainable sushi, sashimi and grilled yakitori meats with a variety of condiments are also available at this kitchen. The classics include yellow fin tuna, wild-caught swordfish and Atlantic salmon.

Sweet treats await at mezza9’s Sunday brunch with a wide dessert selection including nitrogen gin fizz made a la minute, macaroons, bread and butter pudding, plus other handmade cakes and pastries from the patisserie.

Why kids will love it

There’s something for the children at Sunday Brunch too. An onsite play-room with children’s toys and an ever-changing roster of weekly activities including face painting and balloon sculpting, will keep them entertained. Children will also be able to choose from a selection of kid-friendly, but natural food options such as mini wagyu beef sliders and chicken tenders.
