A total of 41,888 places are available at 181 primary schools for admission in the year 2022. (This is five schools short of the total count of 2021.) And overall, 37,861 children born in Singapore in 2015 will be eligible for Primary 1 next year.
Under the primary school registration Phase 1, all registered children will be guaranteed a place.
Similar to last year, parents have to complete an online application to register their children. The application will indicate the school where the older sibling is studying and their preferred school will provide them with the registration details.
This year’s primary school registration Phase 1 will close on Thursday (1 July) at 4.30pm.
