Primary 1 registration 2014 - Important dates

If you have a child who will be starting Primary 1 next year, here are some dates that you need to take note of...

One of the things that most parents in Singapore look forward to is when they register their kids for Primary 1.

To make the Primary 1 registration a little easier, we’ve compiled a list of important dates that you should take note of  in 2014:

Primary 1 Registration 2014: Take note of these important dates!

Phase 1

Registration: 3rd and 4th July 2014

For a child who has a sibling studying in the primary school of choice.

Phase 2A(1)

Registration: 8th July 2014

Announcement of Results: 10th July 2014

1. For a child whose parent is a former student of the primary school and who has joined the alumni association as member not later than 30 June 2013.

2. For a child whose parent is a member of the School Advisory/Management Committee.

Phase 2A(2)

Registration: 14th and 15th July 2014

Announcement of Results: 17th July 2014

1. For a child whose parent or sibling has studied in the primary school of choice.

2. For a child whose parent is a staff member of the primary school of choice.

Phase 2B

Registration: 21st and 22nd July 2014

Announcement of Results: 25th July 2014

1. For a child whose parent has joined the primary school as a parent volunteer not later than 1 July 2013, and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 June 2014.

2. For a child whose parent is a member endorsed by the church/clan directly connected to the primary school.

3. For a child whose parent is endorsed as an active community leader.

Phase 2C

Registration: 30th July, 31st July and 1 August 2014

Announcement of Results: 6th August 2014

1. For all children who are eligible for Primary 1 in 2015, and are not yet registered in a primary school.

Phase 2C Supplementary

Registration: 12th and 13th August 2014

Announcement of Results: 19th August 2014

1. For a child who is not yet registered in a primary school after Phase 2C.

Phase 3

Registration: 28th August 2014

Announcement of Results: 14th November 2014

1. For a child who is neither a Singapore Citizen nor a Singapore Permanent Resident

Note: Children who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents and who are still not registered in school after the earlier phases are also eligible to register at this phase.
