Premium pet food brand NUTRIPE launches NUTRIPE ESSENCE, a new range of dry food for dogs and cats in Singapore. Singapore is the first country the new series of dry pet food will be launched in, followed by Japan and Korea.
NUTRIPE ESSENCE contains Green Tripe, a key ingredient and scientifically proven superfood for pets that is beneficial to their health and aids digestion.
The launch is part of NUTRIPE’s ongoing commitment towards ensuring that the changing nutritional needs of pets across all life stages are well catered for.

The new range of NUTRIPE pet food products incorporates Green Tripe that has been sustainably sourced from Australia, a country renowned for its clean, lush pastures and sustainable farming. Green Tripe is the nutrient-rich stomach lining of ruminating animals (e.g. cows, lambs and deer) that graze green pastures.
This unique and completely natural ingredient contains a range of nutrients such as proteins, probiotics and essential fatty acids that support a healthy gut microbiome, which is the very foundation of a healthy pet immune system.
“There is a growing number of pet owners in Singapore who want only the best for their furry family members, yet are also concerned about the cost of multiple vet visits and pricey medication they need to purchase when their pets fall ill. NUTRIPE believes that the best move forward is to ensure pets consume food that is good for their digestive systems and rich in nutrients. Improving and maintaining better pet health enables us owners to spend more valuable time with our animal friends,” said NUTRIPE.
To produce the world’s largest range of Green Tripe-based pet food, NUTRIPE collaborated with numerous veterinary practitioners and nutritional scientists to create unique formulas that push the boundaries of current pet nutrition.

An esteemed animal clinical nutrition industry expert that NUTRIPE worked with is Emeritus Professor Nick Costa, who formerly led the School of Veterinary Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Murdoch University.
Professor Costa has been a consultant to many multinational organisations and companies, formulating foods for dogs and cats, as well as providing technical advice to these brands.
He has also authored and co-authored more than 130 scientific publications, as well as two books on mineral metabolism in animals.
“I am pleased to work with and endorse NUTRIPE, an ethical pet food brand that marries the latest nutritional thinking with the fundamental biology of dogs and cats. Their use of Green Tripe in all pet food products is a clear demonstration of their trust in nutritional science, as well as conviction in the research and development efforts that benefit the health and wellbeing of pets,” said Professor Costa.
For this initial launch, NUTRIPE partnered with local pet telehealth startup ZumVet to give away vet check-up vouchers worth S$50 for every purchase of NUTRIPE ESSENCE*.
Moving forward, the NUTRIPE team intends to introduce more types of Green Tripe-based feed to pet owners worldwide, bringing the multiple health benefits of this unique ingredient to pets around the world.
