Kate Middleton turns 36, visits schoolchildren in London suburb

After marking her 36th birthday, a pregnant princess Kate Middleton paid a visit to a nursery school and had fun painting with kids!

With a visible bump and a sunny disposition, a pregnant princess Kate made a recent solo public appearance! Shortly after celebrating her 36th birthday, the Duchess of Cambridge headed to a nursery school in Feltham, London.

Schoolchildren were delighted to be able to have a painting activity with the stunning royal. Kate, in turn, looked quite happy and healthy.

The school, Reach Academy, is a college-preparatory learning institution that believes everyone can succeed regardless of their socioeconomic background.

Prior to her visit, Kate Middleton kicked back for a relaxing day with the royal family, choosing to celebrate privately.

“It’s just a quiet celebration at home,” a source tells E! News. “No big party.”

A pregnant princess Kate also learned more about the school’s emotional well-being programs

The mental health organisation and charity Place2Be, which the Duchess supports works in close partnership with the said school.

Before having fun painting with the kids, she was given a tour of the school. She then met with parents and educators to talk about their emotional health support programs, including LGBT students.

In this way, Kate Middleton does her part in continuing Diana’s legacy, as the late Princess Diana offered her support to LGBTs, a first in the history of the monarchy.

During her visit, the media noted how Kate charmingly rewore one of her favourite maternity dresses, a Séraphine maternity dress, which she paired with a navy coat.

It’s no secret that the royal likes to keep it simple. In fact, when it comes to her kid’s wardrobes, she rarely buys them new clothing.

Based on the photos, Duchess Kate looked healthy and happy, showing no signs of her pregnancy woes, or extreme morning sickness, which she revealed early on in her pregnancy.

Kate is in her second trimester and will be welcoming baby number three sometime in April 2018.
