Regarding family-friendly events that combine fun with a meaningful cause, the POSB PAssion Run for Kids 2023 takes the cake. This annual event, jointly organised by POSB and the People’s Association, is a golden opportunity for you and your loved ones to bask in a day filled with endless excitement. Even better, it allows you to support the POSB PAssion Kids Fund, making a real difference in our community’s children’s lives.
Explore Different Worlds at the Run for Kids Carnival
This year, the event’s theme is “Kids Run the World,” which celebrates the limitless potential and boundless energy of our young ones. In addition to the heartwarming run, organisers have assembled five enchanting carnival worlds for you and your family to explore. Each world offers unique experiences and valuable lessons:
1. Recycle World:
Step into a city filled with “reduce, reuse, and recycle” themed exhibits, games, and activities. This world showcases all things sustainable and is a fantastic area for kids to practice environmentally responsible habits. It’s an interactive space that educates while being fun and engaging.
2. Happy World:
Picture a balloon city of dreams where kids can simply be kids! In Happy World, carnival activities, game booths, and craft workshops promote the value and joy of imagination and creativity. It’s a world that encourages children to explore their creativity and let their imaginations run wild.
3. Healthy World:
Kids are renowned for their seemingly unlimited energy, and Healthy World is where they can learn how to put it to productive use. This world offers healthy eating workshops, dexterity and fitness routines, and other wellness-promoting activities. It’s all about helping kids make healthy lifestyle choices while having fun.
4. Nature World:
Get ready for an up-close and hands-on reconnection to our natural world. Nature World offers a terrarium workshop where kids can learn about ecosystems and conservation. This world also explores how technology can help future-proof our precious planet, teaching children about the importance of sustainability.
5. Future World:
Future World is all about the impressive power of technology and the future. The goal is to encourage kids to envision and share their future through captivating tech-based demos, games, and contests. It’s a great way to inspire the young generation to embrace and shape the future with the latest technology.
