In an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show, Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Pink talked about how she is raising her 5-year-old daughter Willow using a “tough” parenting style.
This includes having to “earn her way” to go to the Alice: Through the Looking glass premiere, a film where Pink provides the lead single of the soundtrack.
“She has to feed the dog, she has to make her bed,” she said with a laugh. “She has to be nice to me, let me sing in the car, because she won’t let me sing in the car.”
Pink also revealed that her feisty girl who’s following in her musical footsteps.
“She’s a fireball,” gushes the proud mum to Entertainment Tonight. But her daughter is also one of her harshest critics. Pink shares how Willow called her singing voice “distracting” hilariously adding, “‘I love you, mum, but you’re very disappointing.'”

“She’s pitch-perfect and she’s loud, which is always good. If you can’t hit the note, just be loud,” said the 36-year-old singer. “I just let her be free and wild. I just love watching the world through her eyes. She’s completely unjaded, unstained. She’s just amazing.”
Though she admits she’s been writing new songs, she has no plans of releasing them just yet: “I’m winging it right now.”

She also took to Instagram to reveal the adorable cake she customized for her daughter’s 5th birthday. The inspiration? Willow’s ultimate celebrity crush, none other than ‘The Martian’ star Matt Damon.
The cake features a miniature version of Matt as an astronaut sitting atop Mars.
“Matt Damon made it after all,” the devoted mum wrote in the caption.
Pink has proudly gushed about her daughter’s crush to many media outlets and she confessed to Entertainment Tonight that this has gotten her “in trouble”.
“She’s already upset with me because there’s a new game we play called Ask Siri — which, she just found out last week there’s a Siri — and I said, ‘Siri, Willow-Matt Damon’ and all this stuff came up,” the pop star explained. “[Willow]’s like, ‘How do they know?’ She got mad at me!”
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, I need to keep my mouth shut,'” she continued. “Sorry!”

She initially promised to get Willow a Damon poster for her birthday but the creative mum truly outdid herself!
“It’s good. She loves it. I love it. I thought it was great, but I don’t love it the way she loves it,” Pink revealed to ET. “She asked me if Matt Damon can come to [her birthday party]. I think she has a crush.”
It seems young Willow has truly been bitten by the “love bug”.
“She wakes up and rolls over and goes, ‘Matt Damon,'” Pink laughingly told ET. “I’ve never talked about Matt Damon this much in my life! She made me google Matt Damon dolls. That was disturbing. Do that sometime, they’re very disturbing.”
But her real life love story with Willow’s dad is even more adorable! More on that on the next page
