National Day is right around the corner, and this year’s fireworks are gonna be special. We celebrate not just the nation’s 54th birthday, but also the Singapore Bicentennial, which marks the 200th anniversary of Sir Stamford Raffles’ arrival in Singapore. The National Day fireworks in Singapore 2019, will be set off from three locations this year, including the Singapore River (for the first time).
This year’s NDP will be held at the Padang. The fireworks display is expected to go off from 8pm to 8.20pm.
4-minute firework displays will also be held in five heartland areas on 10 August 2019 – Bishan, Wisma Geylang Serai, Jurong East, Punggol and Woodlands.
Excited? Wait until we tell you the best places to catch this year’s National Day fireworks, for free!
