Summary:
Divided into five main sections: Diversity, Cycles, Systems, Interactions and Energy, My Pals Are Here Science Booster Volume A, is a good guide book for Singapore students in primary three and four. Bursting with photos, diagrams and information, it’s a good way to get your kids to better understand and enjoy science.

What we liked best:

1) Links to interesting websites are incorporated into this book in an attempt to get kids to surf science online!

2) Eye - catching photographs and illustrations throughout the book. In fact we spent a good twenty minutes just gawking at the amazing pictures.

3) It’s matched to the latest Singapore science syllabus. Design and feel are also specifically tailored for Asian readers.

What we didn’t like:

1) The binding of our review copy of My pals Are Here, Science Booster volume A was tearing apart. But we aren’t sure if that’s because we were using a review copy. In any case, we’d recommend parents to look at the binding of their book before purchasing it.

Our Verdict : We give it 4/5 stars. For $29.90, it is definitely worth it!
