Mum gets hilarious phone call from school

Mum gets hilarious phone call from school

We all know the feeling of trepidation when receiving a phone call from our children's school. So many thoughts and possibilities race through the mind.

We all know the feeling of trepidation when receiving a phone call from our children’s school. ALL the thoughts and possibilities race through the mind: What happened? Is he hurt? Did he hurt somebody? Was he so naughty that they are sending him home? It must be a seriously bad thing if the school has to call right?!

So imagine mum Ladye Hobson’s surprise when the school principal tells her that her son Brylan has made her day. Turns out that Brylan was not sick, nor was he particularly naughty, but had in fact, managed to smuggle a dead squirrel into his backpack!

The principal then proceeds to send Ladye a photo of the dead squirrel, lying quite peacefully in her son’s backpack.

When asked by the principal what possessed him to pick up a dead squirrel and store it in his backpack, Brylan replies “I really wanted squirrel dumplings for dinner.”
