More Support for Low-Income Families with ComLink+

ComLink+ supports low-income families in Singapore with financial aid, healthcare, housing, and education assistance.

Low-income families in Singapore will receive enhanced support under the ComLink+ scheme, designed to provide financial incentives and resources for households striving to improve their circumstances. Since its launch, nearly 1,600 families have signed up for these support packages.

Financial Incentives for Stability

The ComLink+ initiative aims to assist families who commit to positive steps such as maintaining stable employment with CPF contributions. By fulfilling these milestones, households can access financial aid along with additional resources to improve their well-being.

Support for Healthcare Needs

This enhanced scheme focuses on key areas such as healthcare, housing, and education. Families may receive assistance with medical expenses, wellness programs, and access to better living conditions. For instance, eligible families may be offered subsidized healthcare services, mental health support, and preventive care programs to improve overall well-being.

Housing Assistance and Stability

In terms of housing, ComLink+ supports families in securing stable accommodations by offering rental assistance, home maintenance aid, and guidance on improving their living environments. These efforts aim to create a stable and conducive home setting for children and other dependents.

Educational Support for Children

ComLink+ actively supports children’s education by connecting families to tuition programs, learning resources, and mentorship opportunities. This ensures that children from low-income households have the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.

By addressing healthcare, housing, and education together, ComLink+ provides both immediate relief and long-term support. This comprehensive approach empowers families to build resilience and work towards self-reliance.

As part of Singapore’s broader effort to uplift vulnerable households, ComLink+ reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening social support systems and improving the quality of life for low-income families.

Families interested in joining the program can find more information at community centers and social service offices across Singapore.
